CAN Chief Development Officer Bob Beard attended a community tour of the new Tulsa SCHEELS location set to open this fall.
The tour provided a peek of the 240,000 square feet the sporting goods store will occupy inside Woodland Hills Mall to house 75 specialty shops and over a million products from hunting gear to home decor. Team members shared how their first store in the Oklahoma region will provide more than just retail products, it will also be a destination for fun with plenty of family-friendly attractions for all ages. These include a 56-foot Ferris wheel, a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium with more than 600 fish, a wildlife mountain, Fuzziwig’s Candy Shop, and more. Shoppers will have the opportunity to enjoy interactive arcade games, sports simulators, and specialty treats at Ginna’s Café, a restaurant serving gourmet soups and sandwiches, homemade fudge, and specialty coffee.
Tulsa SCHEELS will employ more than 450 employee-owner associates at the brand’s 34th location when the doors open on October 19, 2024.
CAN is excited to welcome our new community partner, SCHEELS.
