Collect Comfort Items

With schools back in session and more teachers seeing students again, CAN board and supporters are asking for comfort item donations.

Since the beginning of this year, CAN has seen an average of approximately 163 kids a month, up 16% from 2019. And for every child who visits the Children’s Advocacy Center, CAN provides a new blanket and stuffed animal as an item of comfort and security to help ease some of the trauma and stress that accompanies a visit to the CAC. As a result, we are always in need of donations.

If you would like to support our mission by donating new stuffed animals and blankets, you are welcome to drop them off at our offices located inside the Children’s Advocacy Center, 2829 S. Sheridan Rd.

If you would like to organize a larger workplace, civic organization, church or social group donation drive, please let Kayla Vaughn at kvaughn@childabusenetwork.org know and we’d be happy to provide you with any logos or marketing materials to help make the drive a success.
