Domestic Violence Intervention Services

Domestic Violence Intervention Services, Inc. (DVIS)/Call Rape, a Tulsa Area United Way agency, is the only nonprofit agency in Tulsa, Okla., and the surrounding communities to provide comprehensive intervention and prevention services to men, women and, children affected by domestic and sexual violence. The DVIS/Call Rape mission is to rebuild lives affected by domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy, shelter, counseling, and education.

 

 

 

 

Family and Children’s Services

Family and Children’s Services offers a wide variety of counseling, education, and prevention programs designed to strengthen and promote the well-being of families, children, and communities. Their professional services are offered in nine convenient locations in the Tulsa Metro area as well as in other outlying communities in Northeastern Oklahoma.

 

 

 

 

Helpline Information Services

HELPLINE (a program of the Community Service Council) offers help in locating community resources. Individuals, and service providers seeking assistance for their clients, turn to the Helpline for the most current and comprehensive information.

 

 

 

 

Mental Health Association in Tulsa

The Mental Health Association in Tulsa provides the resources, literature on specific mental illnesses, medical and legal referrals, referrals to local service providers, and lists of community resources, as well as active support and understanding of mental health issues.

 

 

 

 

Oklahoma Supreme Court Network

The Oklahoma Supreme Court Network website provides information about court cases and Oklahoma Statutes.

 

 

 

 

Parent Child Center of Tulsa

The Parent Child Center offers programs for parents who have already abused or neglected their children, as well as programs for parents who are at risk for abusing or neglecting their children.

 

 

 

 

Tulsa CASA, Inc.

Tulsa CASA is an organization of trained court appointed community volunteers who stand up in court for abused children.

 

 

 

 

Youth Services of Tulsa

Youth Services of Tulsa focuses on youth 12-18 and their families. YST offers a wide variety of programs including an adolescent emergency shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, First Offender Diversion Program, Safe Place, Street Outreach, HIV/AIDS prevention, Substance Abuse Services, home-based counseling and the youth activity center for creative and leisure skill development.

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is an online resource for information on missing children and child sexual exploitation.

 

 

 

 

National Children’s Alliance

National Children’s Alliance (formerly the National Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers) is the national membership organization for Children’s Advocacy Centers (CAC). This website lists all member CACs by state here.

 

 

 

 

Prevent Child Abuse America

Prevent Child Abuse America builds awareness, provides education and inspires hope to everyone involved in the effort to prevent the abuse and neglect of our nation’s children. Prevent Child Abuse America provides leadership to promote and implement prevention efforts at both the national and local levels.
